Arnold Jeep 2500 Hand Model (73062)

Arnold Jeep 2500 Hand Model (73062)

This is an extremely rare, original hand-made prototype of a toy jeep, completely painted matte green by hand. I was previously completely unaware of such a vehicle. The clockwork functions perfectly, the steering is correct, and the overall condition is very good. No lithography is visible under the paint. This exceptional piece appears almost unused.

Highlights:

  1. Rare hand sample – Original hand-painted, probably from the early 1950s.
  2. Almost unused - spare wheel never mounted, no sign of a tow hook, hardly any signs of wear.
  3. Special design features – Oval indentation behind the rear axle, small tab on the floor panel next to the passenger seat, three distinctive grid points on the bumper mount.
  4. Originality under the magnifying glass – Even upon closer inspection, the original paintwork is confirmed without any subsequent alterations.

Length: 17.5 cm – a fascinating collector's item, the existence of which is hardly known even among connoisseurs.

Tradition & Expertise in the Toy Trade

I discovered my passion for tin toys and enamel signs early on, and gained my first experience at flea markets and trade fairs.
In 1986, I turned my hobby into a profession – the foundation for Tintoy-World, which has also been active on eBay since 1996. With decades of experience and expertise, I have established myself as one of the leading dealers for tin toys and am now a well-established figure in the industry.
