1950 Mobiloil Enamel Sign (74029)

This Mobiloil enamel sign from Germany takes collectors directly back to the glamorous fifties: a medium-sized sign in bright red, blue and white with a domed, stenciled surface – created around 1950.

The condition is between 1 and 2, the high-gloss surface emphasizes the high-quality workmanship; a small repaired damage above the lettering tells of the long journey of this sign, but hardly affects the overall impression. The heavy backing material gives the sign substance.
I have seen only a few such examples.

The dimensions are 48 x 48 cm.
