The Günthermann Clown in the Wheel dates from the 1920s and was made in Germany. The multi-colored, hand-painted tin toy features a cheerful clown motif and beautifully conveys the special charm of early mechanical toys.

The clockwork mechanism works. The condition is normal played-with, with clear signs of age and use. Due to the delicate hand-painted finish, there are visible paint chips, which are understandable for a piece of this age.
