Schuco Climbing Figure Jo-Jo Rabbit 839 (75310)

Schuco Climbing Figure Jo-Jo Rabbit 839 (75310)

The "Jo-Jo Rabbit" climbing figure (Model 839) by Schuco dates from the 1930s and was manufactured in Germany. The figure combines lithographed tin with a very well-preserved mohair fur, whose rich green gives the piece a special appeal. Typical of this version is the cord mechanism that enables the climbing movement and emphasizes the playful character of this early Schuco figure.

The condition is good with only slight signs of wear (corresponding to a grade of 2 on the German school grading scale). The mohair is well-maintained, and the lithographed surfaces show an appealing color effect. The cord mechanism's function is limited due to age and only works weakly, but it remains as an original functional feature.

With a height of approx. 18 cm, this is a sought-after pre-war climbing figure that is considered one of the rare editions within the Schuco collector's world and is particularly appealing due to its material combination and mechanics.

Tradition & Expertise in the Toy Trade

I discovered my passion for tin toys and enamel signs early on, and gained my first experience at flea markets and trade fairs.
In 1986, I turned my hobby into a profession – the foundation for Tintoy-World, which has also been active on eBay since 1996. With decades of experience and expertise, I have established myself as one of the leading dealers for tin toys and am now a well-established figure in the industry.
